A torn-up roofline after a storm isn't a "get to it next week" problem, and we don't treat it like one — Roof Repair Smedway answers, scopes the damage, and dispatches a crew across Modoc fast.
Roof Repair Smedway grew out of Modoc, IN job sites, not a corporate rollout plan — that's still how we staff every Roof Leak Repair crew we send to Modoc.
Ask to see our Modoc, IN license and insurance certificate and you'll have it in your hand before the estimate even starts.
Every Roof Leak Repair job, from a single flashing repair to a full Modoc tear-off, gets built to the same standard: the one that holds up, not the one that's fastest to invoice.
Documentation on request, no exceptions.
Someone answers, every time, day or night.
Every price is itemized, not eyeballed over the phone.
We already know Modoc's weather patterns and permit process.
Catching a roof problem at the "annoying" stage is almost always cheaper than catching it at the "emergency" stage.
None of the six signs below require an emergency call on their own, but each one is worth a scheduled inspection before it turns into something bigger.
Heavy granule loss usually means the shingles are nearing the end of their service life.
Shingles that curl at the edges have lost flexibility and are more likely to crack in the next windstorm.
Daylight visible through the attic roof boards means water has the same path in.
A spreading brown ring on a ceiling almost always means water is tracking in from somewhere on the roof.
An unexplained bill increase is worth checking against your roof's condition.
A bare patch after high wind is a direct gap in your roof's weather barrier that needs covering right away.
Not every call needs the same fix, so we scope each Modoc job individually instead of running everything through one generic quote.
These categories aren't marketing labels; they reflect how our crews are actually organized and dispatched across Modoc, IN.
When wind or hail rips open a section of roofing, we tarp it fast to stop water intrusion, then schedule the permanent fix right behind it.
Our residential scope covers shingle repair, full reroofs, ventilation upgrades, and skylight flashing fixes.
Flat roofs get scheduled inspections in addition to repair calls, catching ponding-water problems early.
We'll tell you honestly whether your roof needs a full replacement or just a targeted repair — we don't default to the bigger invoice.
Post-storm inspections give homeowners documented evidence, useful whether or not a claim gets filed.
If your roof has an architectural quirk, we scope it personally rather than forcing a standard fix.
Homeowners tell us the not-knowing is often worse than the repair itself, so we try to remove as much guesswork from the process as we can.
Call +1-844-212-9199, describe the issue, and dispatch routes it to the nearest available Modoc crew.
The inspection covers decking, flashing, and ventilation, not just the obvious visible damage.
An itemized estimate is delivered before any work starts, covering materials, labor, and cleanup.
Once approved, the crew completes the work to manufacturer spec and cleans the site before leaving.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
We give you an honest arrival window instead of a vague "sometime this week."
Every estimate is itemized so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Certifications stay current so material warranties remain valid after installation.
We'd rather send a crew back for a small fix than leave a homeowner unsure.
We're not your insurance company, but we make that part of the process easier.
If a repair solves the problem, that's what we recommend — we don't push a replacement to inflate the invoice.
Every job closes with a written workmanship guarantee, separate from whatever the material manufacturer already covers — if something's wrong, we come back and fix it.
No surprise line items appear after the fact; anything that changes the scope gets discussed with you directly.
If you ever need to use the guarantee, the process is a phone call, not a fight.
We stage crews across Modoc, IN so a storm hitting one part of the region doesn't leave the rest of Modoc waiting.
Because our crews already know Modoc's layout, we rarely lose time to a wrong-turn delay that out-of-area companies deal with constantly.
We'd rather confirm coverage on a quick call than have a homeowner assume they're out of range and skip calling entirely.
